This Caringbah South garden was reimagined as a layered outdoor retreat, bringing the pool, entertaining areas and surrounding landscape together within one cohesive design.
The renovated swimming pool is framed by warm timber decking and frameless glass fencing, maintaining open views across the garden. A striking Luxe Cantilever pergola anchors the principal entertaining area, providing generous shelter while its streamlined, column-free form keeps the space feeling open and connected. A charcoal feature wall adds depth and contrast, giving the outdoor room a strong architectural presence.
A cobblestone pathway creates a natural connection between the lawn, pool and pergola, while integrated steps and tiered corten steel garden beds respond to the changing levels of the site. These structural elements establish clear movement through the garden and create opportunities for planting to soften the surrounding hard surfaces.
A restrained planting palette of olive trees, agaves, cacti and layered groundcovers introduces Mediterranean warmth, sculptural form and year-round texture. The result is a bold yet relaxed landscape that balances clean architectural lines with a comfortable and inviting atmosphere for everyday outdoor living.
